Our operations exist in a highly competitive industry and we are responsible for the management of an effective industrial health and safety program for our employees. Because we run this program in a deliberate and conscientious way, we not only reduce the risk of injury but also minimize losses and maximize profit. Total cooperation must come from all levels of employment and all of our employees realize that safety is a serious business.

Standards must be established and a commitment to maintaining those standards must be made in order to have an effective and consistent safety program. Anyone employed—directly or indirectly—by Skeena Sawmills is a partner in safety and shall follow those safety standards to keep our workplace accident free. We have also developed general safety rules and will be maintaining and updating them as needed.
