Located along the majestic Skeena River in Terrace British Columbia, Skeena Sawmills operations sources nearly half of its wood fibre through long-term replaceable tenure agreements on publicly owned land. The remaining fibre is sourced on the open market from other tenure holders and private forest landowners. Wherever Skeena operates, we remain dedicated to sustainable forestry practices.

Skeena manages forests within the Coastal Western Hemlock biogeoclimatic zone which is one of North America’s most productive temperate rainforests. Western hemlock, amabilis fir, western redcedar, Sitka spruce, and yellow-cedar are the main species found within these forests. The policies and principles that govern the way Skeena manages theses forest work to foster a strong community and help to promote a sustainable future.
